COM3 @ Imagination Ridge

To accommodate our fast-growing community of students, faculty members, and staff, we are very pleased to have a brand new purpose-built new building to provide everyone with the resources they need to do the best work that they can.

Located over Lover's Park valley, the Computing 3 (COM3) building will connect academia, research and industry, by providing a physical bridge between COM1, COM2 and the Smart Nation Cluster (SNC), as well as serve as a hub to foster collaboration and innovation. COM3 is due to be completed at the end of 2022.

Level 2

Research Labs and Centres

Flexible, well-equipped labs will accommodate six research clusters. Centres for executive education and translational research will also be housed in a consolidated office space here.

Academic Offices

Faculty members, researchers and staff will have offices near their research labs and centres, for easy access.

Collaboration Spaces

Each research cluster will also be able to purpose-built collaboration spaces to foster brainstorming and working in groups.

Level 1

Foyer

The spacious foyer will serve as a meeting point to mingle and welcome visitors, as well as an event exhibition area for career fairs, student projects and other school functions. The new Maker's Lab, canteen, a cafe and a restaurant are all located nearby.

Multipurpose Hall

Besides serving as teaching venues, the three large seminar rooms can be reconfigured into a large multipurpose hall that will allow for the hosting of programming competitions and large exhibitions, as well as conducting exams and experiments with drones and motion tracking systems.

The Terrace Canteen

Plans for the new Terrace Canteen include digital food ordering and collection systems, vending machine clusters with ready-to-eat meals, and a seating area that can be reconfigured and transformed for performances, exhibitions and student activities.

Executive Lounge

To host industry leaders and prominent guests, there will be a comfortable executive lounge located near the executive education centres.

Drop-off Point

There will be a prominent entrance with a convenient sheltered arrival area for drop-offs and pick-ups, as well as a discreet service access area with a sheltered loading bay.
